C.I.M.E.

International Confederation of Electroacoustic Music ICEM was founded in 1981. From 1974 to 1981, composers from several regions of the world would meet during the second week of the Bourges International Experimental Music Festival. Their discussions concerned questions related to electroacoustic work. These meetings constituted a place of dynamic debate for the examination of social and aesthetic as well as technical and economic subjects.
