Broadcasters

A Finnish TV production company. Known for producing Vain Elämää, Uutisvuoto and Tanssii Tähtien Kanssa. Founded in 1990 by Saku Tuominen and Juha Tynkkynen. They were also the executive producers of the company, until their departure in 2009. Owned by Swedish Zodiak Television Group since spring 2005. The current CEO is Teea Hyytiä (who is also the previous CEO of Jarowskij Finland). In the 90s Broadcasters owned a production company called Media-Active Oy. Nowadays it shares the ownership of Intervisio Oy with MTV3. Many programs produced by Broadcasters are based on foreign formats. Its own creations include Far Out, Tilt.tv and W-Tyyli. Broadcasters' program formats and related options have been sold to over 20 countries, including India, Belgium, Estonia, Norway, Poland and Spain. Broadcasters is also known for its logo: two spotlights form a heart, smoke rises and a woman laughs.The laughing voice belongs to Minna von Reiche.
