Feels Like Home Records
Настоящее имя: Feels Like Home Records
Feels Like Home Records was realized in 2007 in Utica, NY. by Brad Tilbe in an effort to release music by his friends bands. After signing The Aviation Orange and Eric Scholz FLHR released thier split CD (FLHR01) in 2008. The label moved to St. Petersburg, FL. in 2009. Swedish Folk musician Leonard Kaage contacted FLHR and soon after his debut self-titled album was released (FLHR02). From August 13-23, 2009 Leonard toured London, Wales, and Scotland. Leonard embarked on a month long East Coast US tour (May 27 - June 25th, 2010) to promote the record. A compilation was released to coinside with the tour called Bowman House Concerts Can Suck It (FLHR04). The comp. was modeled after the 1989 Judge album titled Chung King Can Suck It.
Before the tour FLHR signed Jacksonville, FL. Folk musician Logan Farmer (aka Tobacco Pat). FLHR released Tobacco Pat's full length in 2010 titled Talk To Me Like The Rain And Let Me Listen (FLHR03). Other signees during this time and up to July of 2011 were, Kyndl Destroyer from Fayetteville, AR. Aorta Scheme from Oakland, CA. A New Nightmare from Utica, NY. Only Monsters from St. Petersburg, FL. Rebecca Jane Woodul from Utica, NY. and Ngaire from St. Petersburg, FL.
Feels Like Home Records released thier fifth and final CD on July 30, 2011 (FLHR05). A compilation featuring live tracks by Leonard Kaage and Set And Setting. Florida Metal band Fatal was also featured, along with Aorta Acheme, Kyndl Destroyer, and Rebecca Jane Woodul. The cover was a tribute to the Black Metal genre although in no way were any of the bands on the label/compilation affiliated with the sound or stlye of the chosen genre. After dismal sales of the FLHR catalog, the label folded on August 7, 2011.
On January 10, 2015 the label was resurrected under a new name, Mother Ape Records.
