At Home (3)

At Home is a Recording Studio owned and run by Chris Daltry. The studio was named after how Emitt Rhodes etched "Recorded At Home" into the dead wax of his LPs. For much of his material, Rhodes played and recorded nearly everything on his own, At Home, and Daltry has done a similar thing At Home with records by his bands the 'Mericans and Purple Ivy Shadows. The Studio records digitally to ProTools and analogue to cassette 4-Track. At Home Recording Studio is currently located in North Providence, Rhode Island (although was previously in Providence, RI). It's a life-long pursuit of making music for owner Chris Daltry, who records his own band's records there as well as projects for others. Its location changes when Daltry moves (its origins were in Richmond, Virginia in the late 1980s, and in New York City between 1992-1993.
