The Golden Years Of Dutch Pop Music

The Golden Years Of Dutch Pop Music is a series of compilation albums of well-known and/or innovative Dutch artists whose music appeared on various record labels from the late fifties onwards. It’s an initiative of the Dutch branch of Universal Music. Later on Sony Music contributed as well. Each album of this mid-priced series comprises two CD’s with A- and B-sides in chronological order and whenever possible relevant album tracks are added. It is issued in a six panel digipak with a booklet containing a biography (written in Dutch), photos and credits. The layout of all the albums is the same and the audio is mastered. Six albums in this series are issued on vinyl.
