Portuguese record label.TOAP Records began to distinguish itself in recording the most original musicians that were rising in Portuguese jazz scene. Meanwhile it broadened its work basis and today it collaborates with musicians of various nationalities, always giving priority to artistic quality regardless of its commercial potential. In partnership with the Guimarães Jazz Festival, it also develops the project ‘TOAP Colective’, a band formed each year by internationally renowned musicians, who get together in a concert where they present compositions commissioned for the occasion.
