Six More Miles Records was conceived in Gothenburg, Sweden the autumn of 2004 by Johan Helmstad. The purpose of the label is to release interesting new acts to a wider audience by using a unique music delivery concept combining the best of two worlds, tangible vinyl records and portable digital music files. Each record contains access codes to a separate website containing the tracks of the record in high quality mp3-format along with a number of extra downloads, including images, remixes and livetracks.
