The Music Brokers

Canadian production/promotion/management company. For company credits see The Music Brokers. Originally founded in 1980 by Linda Dawe as Linda Dawe Associates, in 1985 she reunited with her old subordinate from RCA, Chris Allicock, and LDA morphed into The Music Brokers. Initially the company's focus was on supporting independent artists to release material without major label assistance but their success led to Canadian major labels also using them for marketing and promotion. The company folded in 1990.
