Chris Allicock

Canadian marketer, promoter, and manager. Joined RCA Limited's promotion and marketing department in 1974. He left RCA in 1980 to become regional promo manager at WEA Music Of Canada, Ltd. until 1983. In summer of 1984 he joined Solid Gold Records (2) but within a few months had jumped ship to the Numbers promotion company. In 1985 he joined his previous boss at RCA, Linda Dawe, to form The Music Brokers and was Vice President of Marketing. In 1990 he moved into radio at CING-FM then in 1995 switched to the television and film industry, working with his wife Jane Hawtin.
