Margaret Britt

Australian Guitarist and Singer, AKA Maggie Britt. Founding and primary member of The Vamps, Australia's first female rock band. The Vamps had many lineups of female musicians. With the addition of Jon Kirk (2), the band was then known as Jon And The Vamps, or Jon And The Australian Vamps when performing in the USA. On returning to Australia, Margaret reformed an all-girl Vamps, which metamorphosed into [a3267540], scoring a local hit record with Substitute (a song also released by South African all-girl band Clout). Margaret had a solo career, and later formed Skyz The Limit along with Jon Kirk.
