Les Patching Trio

The Les Patching Trio (1961- 1970) was formed in 1961 with Les Patching on piano, Len Barnard on drums and van Videky on bass. The trio held down residencies at the Cockpit at Essendon Airport for one year and the Southern Cross Hotel for eight years. During this time Frank Smith (8) used Barnard and Videki as the house rhythm section on countless television jingles and commercials.
