Ayawaska (2)

Ayawaska (2) is a rock band, from the city of Macas,Ecuador, that mainly fuses punk, ska and reggae, along with other rhythms such as hip-hop, new metal, hard rock, cumbia, merengue and sounds of the ecuadorian jungle. The band has been known for spreading an ecological message, which has earned them the name of "Reggae de la Selva". The name Ayawaska comes from the liana "ayahuasca" found in the Amazon jungle and which is part of the rituals performed by Shuar shamans, to see the future among other things.
