Frances Mooney

Band Leader of Frances Mooney & Fontanna Sunset and Atlanta Country Music Hall of Famer. Daughter of Roy Westray. Frances Mooney has performed bluegrass music for more than 48 years at festivals, concerts, and clubs taking her band from Georgia to Shang Hi, China and all over the USA. Recipient of IBMA Awards with the Daughters of Bluegrass in 2006 and 2009, and has achieved additional nominations from IBMA, SPBGMA and GMA, in the area's of Vocal Group Of The Year, Bass Player of the Year in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and most recently, this past year in 2019. She and her band are one of the most widely known bluegrass and country music bands in the greater Atlanta, GA. region. Member of the Atlanta Music Hall of Fame.
