Ajax And Friends

A one-off project commissioned by association football club AFC Ajax and featuring a selection of the 2012–13 active squad along with several prominent Dutch rappers and singers and supporters of Ajax Amsterdam. Members of the team who participated in the project were Daley Blind, Christian Eriksen (3), Siem de Jong, Ricardo van Rhijn, Lasse Schöne and Kenneth Vermeer. The song also featured famous singers Koos Alberts, Peter Beens, Karin Bloemen, Robert ten Brink, Glennis Grace, André Hazes Jr. and Victor Reiner. Rappers involved in the project were former Ajax player Ryan Babel, RB Djan of THC and Darryl (4). The result was the single “Wij zijn Ajax” released on SPEC in December of 2012.
