Kenneth Vermeer

Dutch international footballer of Surinamese descent, born January 10, 1986 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Born and raised in Amsterdam, Vermeer began his career in the youth of FC Blauw-Wit before joining the academy of AFC Ajax. The record holder for the longest period in goal without conceding for the Dutch national team, he has been a keeper for Ajax, Willem II, Club Brugge, Feyenoord, and Los Angeles FC. He was won the Dutch national championship on 5 occasions (4 with Ajax, 1 with Feyenoord) as well as the Belgian national championship once with Club Brugge. In 2012 he contributed to the 2012 single “Wij zijn Ajax” by Ajax And Friends.
