The Int

THE INT: New Wave band from Aalst (Belgium). They played many live performances in clubs and a lot of support acts for bands like The Scabs, Red Zebra, The Neon Judgement, [a166210], De Kreuners, ... all over Belgium. They couldn't find a bassplayer so The Int was one of the first bands in Belgium who used the Roland TB 303 Bassline in combination with the Roland TR 606 Drumatics on stage. Later on they used the AKAI S900 sampler on stage. The Int was a special act. Frontman [a1541868] always stealed the show. They won several prices: In 1984 finalist of the LOF-festival (see [r2497151]); In 1985 Group of the year on the LOF-festival (see [r1891728]) this song was recorded with Jean-Pierre Van Den Broeke as co-producer but this is not mentioned on the record. In 1987 they won the third price on the Belgian Rock Concours (Recorded on VHS but never released). Songs to remember: Burundi Boys on [r2497151], Be Loose Be Strained on [r1087976], Arabian Trance (Aerobic Dance) on [r1891728] demo version of the same song on [r884393], I Want Your Body (demo recorded in DK Recording Studio and a videoclip on VHS made by Alain Quateau but never released), Goddamn' I Am (recorded on VHS but never released).
