Tinsel Avenue

Tinsel Avenue from Varberg, Sweden, are a melodic hard rock band. Founded in 1986 after Lezlie Paice split up when Håkan Ljungtegen and Lars TC Anderson teamed up with Carsten Rickermann and Mike Bengtsson to form Avenue, later renamed Tinsel Avenue. The band recorded two EPs, the digital release 16101374 and one more unreleased so far. The played lots of live shows around the Swedish west coast late '80s, but has been on a hiatus since 1989 when all but Mike left for California, USA. Carsten, Lars and Håkan later formed the band Spit It Out! with Michael Persson and Johan Laux.
