Agnes Karll-Verband

Agnes Karll (born March 25, 1868 in Embsen, † February 12, 1927 in Berlin) was a German nurse and reformer of German nursing. Karll worked out the statutes of the professional organization of nurses of Germany founded in 1903 as well as the nursing and welfare nurses (BOKD and BO for short) and became their first chair. The association brokered jobs for its members, offered insurance coverage and legal advice.Later it was renamed to Agnes Karll-Verband, in 1973 it went to the DBfK - Deutscher Berufsverband für Krankenpflege e.V. (German Professional Association for Nursing Professions).
