Merloc Studios

Recording studio located at Canberra Technology Park, Watson ACT, established and operated by Sam King (12) from September 2015 (until 2019). Also known or credited as: I Am Merloc Studios; Merloc; Merloc Studio. See also Sam King's home studio where he was based previously: Blind Monkey Studios The studio and recording space was also called I Am Merloc Studios (named after the bike-riding fish on the wall of Dickson Pool in Canberra, ACT) as early as December 2013 during the two year building process. Located at the Canberra Technology Park, in an old classroom, the fit-out consisted of three rooms; a live room 27m2, vocal booth 4.5m2 and control room 12m2. The live room and booth were both built on a floating floor to decouple them from the rest of the building.
